This is the reason why the founder of the so called, Unification Church, Rev. Sun Myung Moon is one of the 10 new religious leaders that John Hogue describes in his book as the possible Messiah according to Nostradamus' signs. (Nostradamus and the Millennium, John Hogue, 1987). At that time little was known about Rev. Moon except for the negativity, so John Hogue was not favorable about Moon being the Messianic figure predicted by Nostradamus. But now it becomes more and more obvious that Nostradamus is talking of no one else but this controversial Korean unificationist and peacemaker.

Let's be clear, there are just 5 major world religions. So it's not a simple thing to establish and spread a new religion in ones lifetime. That cannot happen without God's power being active behind. But all prophecies explain that this new religion will elevate, explain and unite all existing religions, bringing finally the realization of God's and human's sacred hope for Peace. 

Rev. Moon definitely is the only religious leader founder fulfilling that description. In just 40 years, he expanded his Unificationist movement on world wide level, in 295 nations. He joined representative high level leaders of all religions, faiths and denominations. He is known for, uniting religious, political and social leaders with the aim to abolish Communist Materialism, Antagonism and Immorality. These are the main trades of his teaching, work and achievements. That unavoidably set him as a target of imminence persecution.

One of the signs according to Nostradamus is that "Moon" will suffer great persecution and misunderstanding; He will be repeatedly thrown in jail; He will fly and travel a lot, but wherever he goes he will bless the families (Rev. Moon held enormous International Marriage-blessing ceremonies all around the world).

Nostradamus pointed that in 1991 the world will have heard about him, but will still not be able to believe. However in 2012 his foundation will become so great that the world leaders will start recognizing him.  From 2013 will be the beginning of a new era of peace.

Nostradamus clearly points that our attitude will determine what will follow; a bright future, following Moon's teachings, or destructive World War III, if we fail to hear his call.

In a proclamation to the world Rev. Moon announced that in few years will shine a new era of peace and prosperity, spiritual and physical world will be linked as never before. The immoral secular traditions will go to extinction, and all of humanity will become one family through inter-cultural marriages.
