"For a child will be born in the East"
From Jesus' words in the Bible, we know that at the Second Coming Christ will be born on the earth. That will happen in an Eastern-Oriental country, as predicted in Revelation 12:5. His birth will happen soon after the appearance of the Red Dragon (the Red Communism, 1917). He is coming with 'A New Name', which Bible says, is 'The Word of God' (Moon in Korean).
Is Rev. Moon the one, or shall we look for another?
It's a fact: Millions, through their own experience, accept Rev. Moon as the Messiah, the promised King of Peace. Through studying his life they came to believe that he is the one, who will lead the world towards God's original ideal. We don't talk only about his followers; numerous prominent politicians, religions leaders and scientists are convinced Rev. Sun Myung Moon is the promised Peacemaker and Messiah. Jesus called him for that mission as a child
He was a small boy, when Jesus appeared to him and gave him this mission. Of course, proclaiming this brought him only persecution and misunderstanding. But he had no choice - Jesus himself called him at the age of 15. Can anyone be called a true Christian, if he openly goes against the will of Jesus. Reverend Moon begun to communicate with God and Jesus at his early age. He was 15 years old when Jesus Himself appeared to him and repeatedly urged the young Korean boy to accept this mission and lead the realization of God's will on earth. Jesus promised he will give his Messianic mission to another
Revelation 2:26-28 shows that another sinless person, as Jesus, will appear ("having deeds pure as His"). Jesus himself will give him the same mission ("as I received from my Father"), which is the Messianic mission ("to rule all nations with an iron staff"). That means to be the "anointed one" as a "King of Kings", meaning Christ, Messiah ruling with righteousness.

The Second Coming has happened in 1920, when the Lord of the Second Coming was born in the East. A year before that there was revelation and many signs of his birth. We will recognize him by his fruits
In less than 50 years he created a worldwide net of organizations for peace able to transform any area of human life, that will bring a spiritual revolution of Heart and Conscience. According to the Institute for Studying the New Religions the Unification Church, founded by Rev. Moon is the "Most successful religion of the 20-th century".
God is definitely working through him: Dr. Sun Myung Moon is known for his key role in the fall of Communism. President Reagan personally said, "We had the desire but without Rev. Moon we would never have stopped communism." If Rev. Moon had not established the Washington Times in 1982, many more problems would have occurred in the Western world.

The Archbishop Guided to Rev. Moon by a Catholic Saint
The following true story comes from one lady member in Italy, who quite to her surprise had a very special visitor from the spirit world. But the visitor had not come for personal reasons, and her visits touched the life of a prominent Catholic Archbishop in a remarkable way. Even though the events recounted here happened nearly 20 years ago, due to their sensitive nature we have decided not to include the name of our member or the name of the Archbishop.

At the beginning of June 1998, the Blessing was approaching, and I started feeling the presence of some¬body, and at times I could also see a figure in white, but only from the neck down. I wasn’t afraid, but my spiritual senses were opening, and I was becoming more sensitive. Sometimes I could understand things before they actually happened.

On June 13, 1998 [the date of the Blessing Ceremony in New York City] I was alone at home. At that time, I saw the whole spirit body of the person in white for the first time. The person asked me to go and pray near True Parents’ picture. She told me that she was Catherine (St. Catherine of Siena) and that we should pray for the special events of that day.
I prayed with her for about forty minutes. Then, she asked me to get something to write with. She started giving her first message. I was very calm, as if the whole experience were very natural. When I finished writing, I asked myself what had happened, because I didn’t know much about her and I didn’t know her. Later I looked at a book containing her portrait. I realized this was the same face I had seen.
Until December of that year she gave me messages that I passed on to the national leader. We didn’t give them to anyone else.. The messages were very clear and according to the Principle.
In April of 1999, I received another message. It was very clear, and it had to be shared with all the members. Even for me, it wasn’t easy to accept the situation of being one to receive such communications. I worried about what others would say or do. The message, however, was very clear [about creating unity] and even though it was difficult for me I gave it to the national messiah and national leader.
From that moment on, the messages were shared with everyone, and more messages followed. Many brothers and sisters received great benefit from that. [The messages reflected the concern of the good spirit world for the renewal of blessed couples’ faith, and for unity on all levels] To hear how the spirit world testifies to our True Parents has allowed some of us to reflect upon the value of our days lived here on earth.

In August, we went to the Vatican to visit the tombs of the popes. At that time, I felt with my whole being the suffering of their being secluded in that gilded world that seems to have lost its original spirituality. I felt the spirits of the departed popes were asking for help and for prayer in order to be saved. They also wanted Christianity to connect with God’s current providence.
After that, we started a forty-day prayer condition with our Korean national messiah, Rev. Song Keun-shik, and four other members. Every morning we got up at 5:30, recited the Pledge, then left for the Vatican. At 7:00, St. Peter’s Basilica [the central church of the Catholic faith, in Rome] opens its doors, and we would go inside to pray, and to read the Principle. On Sundays, a lot of members would come, and we had beautiful spiritual experiences.

At the end of the forty days, one prominent Catholic Archbishop telephoned the wife of Rev. Song and asked her if she would treat him with moxa [a herb that is burned so that its healing smoke permeates the skin], because his arm was painful.
While receiving treatment, the Archbishop also listened to the Principle. It was explained to him about Mary, about the question of whether Jesus was able to fulfill his role as the Messiah or not, and about the providence of True Parents.
What we said about Mary’s role was not easy for him to understand. Then Rev. Song’s wife told him that one sister was receiving messages from St. Catherine. He decided to meet and talk with me, in order to understand whether those messages and my experience were authentic.
We met, only the two of us, in a big hall. His face was very serious and full of concentration. In that moment, I felt his spiritual energy and power, and I understood that he had a commanding knowledge of the spirit world. At the same time, I was worried, because I did not know what was going to happen.
He told me that he was going to write every single word of what I said. He said that I did not need to be afraid: very often the saints come and speak to us, but after that some other spirits may interfere and disturb us. He has the power to understand those things and find out the truth. Then he closed the door and began asking me questions:
“When did the messages start?”
I replied, “June 13, 1998.”
“Were they written down?”
I said they were.
“Please summarize the content of the messages.” I did so.

After the questions ended, he asked to talk with St. Catherine, and offered a special prayer. He invoked the Holy Spirit so that it might purify me, and let St. Catherine enter my body. I felt an incredible energy, come from the top of my head, and slowly enter my body. I felt I had to leave my body, and that’s what actually happened. (I was aware of what was happening in the room, but I was separate from it.)
St. Catherine spoke about the urgency that Heavenly Father is feeling in our time. She said that all those who have been using God for their own personal purposes could no longer do so. The time has come for us to take responsibility to love our Father with filial love. After that the explanation of the Principle began, focusing on the roles of each central figure in Jesus’ time, including the role of Mary. The Archbishop accepted these teachings because he understood the purpose for which God had sent the Messiah.
In the beginning, their conversation wasn’t calm. They were arguing. He was very strong, but she no less so. In the adjacent kitchen, people could hear the discussion. Then the argument cooled down, and the topic centered on the explanation of the Principle and the value of the Blessing.
St. Catherine explained the Principle to him: from the purpose of creation to the value of the Blessing and the coming of True Parents; how God fulfills His will through the True Parents; that Jesus’ role was not to die on the cross but to realize a central family; that spirit people suffer a lot in the spirit world because they are not on the earth at this time; that before the arrival of True Parents they [people in the spirit world] had not understood God’s pain and Jesus’ role; and also the long time during which God had prepared so that He could educate one people.
In tears, Catherine asked the Archbishop to follow True Parents, to study the Principle. She told him that Jesus is with True Parents, and that the Archbishop’s ancestors were pushing him to realize unity between Christianity and True Parents. He asked her how he was to deal with his many commitments, and she answered that the top priority was True Parents.
When I opened my eyes, his face was incredibly bright, as if light were emanating from his skin. He was not tired, but, rather, looked relaxed and happy to have listened to these words. Then he started questioning the value of his position in the Vatican, because each individual must unite with God through the Messiah, and True Parents are bringing this world to God through the restoration of humanity. The returning Messiah forms the first original family and sets the foundation for the beginning of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven.
He was very happy, and confirmed that it was indeed St. Catherine who was giving the messages. He said she had promised him she would always stay close to him, help and support him, but that he had to take responsibility for the restoration of the Vatican and the unity between Christianity and the True Parents.
Before leaving, I asked him to sign one book of mine about St. Catherine, and he wrote “To Catherine: may the Lord bless and be with you.”

How much suffering is in your heart and how many tears you are shedding, Monsignor! I am always close to you in the moments you need the most. I promised to help you and I am doing it. Close to you there is your spiritual tribe, and your family is supporting you. They have met True Parents and they are working so that they (True Parents) may be victorious.
You have given so much. Who¬ever has knocked at your door has always received words of comfort and help. You have helped so many people, and so many people have helped you! If you reflect back on your life you have surely given much. Now, is a very special time, but it is a time when you can grow internally.
Jesus did not have to die on the cross. God’s original plan was for him to get married and build the first family in which Heavenly Father could feel at home, but it did not work out like that. Now, with the True Parents, God’s original plan is being fulfilled, and you must be part of it. You must help True Parents in this special time. You have been prepared for something great. Victory will come. Please, unite your heart with Heavenly Father’s through the True Parents. Your foundation of the New Testament must now find completion in the Completed Testament.
The Blessing was God’s original plan. The Ceremony is the external aspect. You know what is now left of Jesus’ spirit. The foundation of love no longer exists. Please, help those who are closest to you to change and witness to True Parents. You will be blessed by God for eternity. You feel our support and we listen to your prayers. We can see you when you ask God, “What shall I do? Show me the way.” True Parents are the only way of salvation for the whole of humankind. We can think about a lot of material positions or prestige, but you know that those things end quickly. Nothing of that goes to the spirit world. Only your heart will be with you for eternity, and you have given so much love. Please, bring your spiritual growth to completion with God’s will and not with the will of external positions. Use your spiritual potential to make True Parents victorious in this nation. We [the good spirit world] will always be with you. Please, accept these words that are coming from our hearts.
Monsignor, you are blessed by Heavenly Father. Jesus has embraced you so much, but he is now following True Parents. Please follow God’s will too according to the new dispensation centered upon True Parents.
May Heavenly Father give you His eternal blessing through the love of True Parents. I am Catherine. I know you have been waiting for this message. Please, receive all my support and the support of the spirit world that is witnessing to the True Parents and to Heavenly Father’s love.”
Catherine of Siena was proclaimed one of the two patron saints of Italy by the Pope in 1939 along with St Francis of Assisi.
On the personal experience with St. Catherine
My experience with St. Catherine began when our nation was at a very difficult point. The spiritual world intervened to steer us away from the worst of this. Without taking an important position itself, the spirit world took the position of guiding us toward the road of the Principle, until the nation could find its equilibrium. The education I received from this is that in the first place, there is God and True Parents. The spiritual world is an instrument working for the realization of God’s will.
I was sometimes accused by those who thought my experiences were not real but, rather, my own invention, because I could not predict the future, and because I never gave special instructions. But what I understood was that the significance of the messages I received from St. Catherine was not to do with anyone’s personal problems. If I asked her about a private problem she always answered that the brother or sister in question must read True Parents’ words, and therein would be the solution.
In February 2000, at the time of the Blessing, one morning St. Catherine cried so much because she did not have anything to offer to God and True Parents. At that point I understood St. Catherine’s heart, and this for me was more important than being able to read the future.
I understand that, for the good spirit world, God and God’s work come before anything else.

Meeting the stranger
One day I headed down 64th street toward Central Park. Just at that moment a very short Japanese lady, named Tomiko, came up to me on 5th Ave. She was very confident and friendly. I thought she was very brave to come up and talk to me, a stranger, in the middle of NYC when she was having difficulty even to speak English very well. I concluded that she must have something very important to say.

I felt such a peaceful atmosphere
She invited me to take a walk up 5th Ave, towards the building where the Unification Church was located at that time. I walked into the building on 71st Street and felt like I had entered the United Nations. There was every nationality and language there before me – German, French, English, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Belgian, Mexican, and so on. They all looked so harmonious and were very excited and animated in their discussions. I felt such a peaceful atmosphere and a sense of being in the right place at the right time. I thought right away, “Who is the leader who could bring people together like this?” I turned around as I looked about the room and there was a picture of Rev. Moon.
Tears involuntarily came down her cheeks
Who is this man? I asked myself… His face looked so peaceful. Then, Tomiko asked me if I believed in God and began to speak about God’s hopes for humanity. She said that something so tragic had taken place for God and tears involuntarily came down her cheeks– I was really surprised. I had never met anyone as sincere as she was. When she asked me to hear a lecture I said no at first. I was sick and tired of lectures. I had just graduated from college. But I could not say no after a while because she was so sweet and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings.
The first thing I heard that day was called “God’s Ideal of Creation.” It struck me then that I must not only know who is God – but what is God’s will and desire? If we love God, then we would naturally want to become closer to God, as God’s sons and daughters, who know God’s hopes, God’s will and what God feels and plans for us to do in this life.
This is it
During this lecture I had a “This is it” experience. There was a popular book out at that time, called This is It, by Alan Watts… I thought of that book as I had a kind of spiritual experience…
The lecturer drew a diagram on the board of the “4-position foundation” – the ideal family with God at the center as the basis for harmony in the family, and a society, nation and world of peace, and this is when I heard as a shout in my mind, “This is it! This is what you have always been searching for – and not only you, but all of your ancestors have always been searching for!”
I began to feel a great flood of tears coming up, but I did not want to cry in front of them yet.
She finished the lecture and I was just quiet. It struck me with such a peace inside. I thought,

That was all for that day. But within 2-3 hours I was actually on a bus to Washington DC! Yet, destiny was no way to avoid. Here I am today a Unification Church member, proud to be Unificationist. But let me go back to the beggining of my search and the spiritual experience I had to prepare me.
My youth feelings
I don’t know why I had this tendency, but ever since I can remember, I have had some feeling of being interested in religion and making a peaceful world. I also had some very deep experiences of an inexplicable love coming to me as a child, especially when running around out in nature, the woods and the back yard – it was so strong I almost found it overwhelming at times. I think it made me extremely energetic. I could not stop running from place to place exploring everything I could get my hands on. As a child I used to read the Bible to animals and other such silly things.
The peace movements of the 70's
Those of us who went to college in the late 60’s and early 70’s remember all the peace movements. I took these very seriously and I went to one huge rally in Washington, D.C. in 1971. I had (at first) a wonderful experience carrying a candle during a peace vigil where the demonstrators walked across the bridge from Arlington Cemetery into DC. We were surrounded by “marshals” who had organized the vigil and were very eager to keep the march orderly and peaceful. As the day went on I became more and more curious to find out who were the organizers behind this wonderful peace march. As I went from group to group, I met the Yippies, who were one of the main organizers.
Boasting of their ties to Moscow
They were meeting and boasting about their ties to Moscow. I thought that was really cool at the time. However it bothered me that they called all the policemen “pigs.” Later that night 2 of my friends went to the Yippie-led part of the demonstrations at Dupont Circle, where they were shouting “pigs” and throwing rocks until finally they got tear-gassed. To them this was proof of the evils of our government. To me it made me question thoroughly the validity of the entire “peace” movement all in one day.
There is war deep within ourselves
After attending these peace marches I came home to my college dormitory and thought deeply about it. I came to the conclusion that there can be no world peace without God. Human beings are not capable of peace by themselves. We are too much at war even deep within ourselves. I wanted to make a relationship with God and find an inner solution, and so I decided to take a year off from college in the middle of my sophomore year and plunged into a search into all kinds of religions.

I was deeply moved by his capacity to come back again and again with, “God loves you, Christine! Jesus loves you!” even when I rejected him bitterly many times. At this time, my dad had his first heart attack and Rev. MacFarlane had the whole church pray for his recovery. The doctors said my dad’s recovery that time really was miraculous.
Life-changing experience with Jesus
Then one night I had an amazing experience where Jesus came to me in a dream. I was standing before him under a big tree, as he turned the pages of the “book of life.” He was speaking to God about me. I was filled with fear until he turned to me and handed me his staff. He told me I had a mission to fulfill, though he did not tell me what it was. I woke up at 3am and furiously wrote down everything that had happened in that dream. It was so real it was truly a life changing experience for me.
Give my life to God
From that day I began more and more to feel a calling to give my life to God. I found hope and I found the capacity to forgive. That was the essence for me. I thought that if Jesus could forgive and love his enemies on the cross as they killed him, there must be something I can learn from him. I wanted to develop that same capacity. I saw that as absolutely the only hope for me, for the world, for anybody to pass from hell to heaven, from inner turmoil to inner peace.
That was the key. Here was the true man I could believe in. Through this wonderful minister I experienced incredible love from God. I repented a lot and decided to change many things in my life. I also decided I had to give something back to God and to Jesus, but I did not know what yet what he wants from me until I met this Japanese lady and found the truth.

What Jesus Christ himself has testified about Rev. Moon.
Message from Jesus:
Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem, is using this opportunity to send this new message to people on Earth, including the Jews who are still waiting for the coming of the Messiah. Whether Christian or non-Christian, people know my name, Jesus.
The heart of Jesus who is sending this message to the Earth is complex and perplexing. I feel sad that I cannot summarize and convey my message in a few words. In particular, I know that Christians will doubt the message rather than believe it. However, as a person who came to the Earth with the mission of saving the world as the Messiah in the New Testament Age, since the time to reveal the truth has arrived, I am telling you the truth before Heaven and Earth.
I came to Earth with the mission from God to be the Messiah. In the Bible I could not reveal all of the conflicts between the religious believers and non-believers in those days. In fact, there are many providential matters that the Bible does not reveal. With the flow of each providential age, God could not avoid changing His immediate plan. I am revealing clearly a part of this hidden providential content to the numerous clergy who have been waiting for the Lord's return.
God created human beings to need a physical body during their earthly life. Once they lose it, they go to the spirit world and live there for eternity. Dear saints who are waiting for my return, why don't you pay attention to the fact that God gives dual prophecies in the Bible [blessings for those who follow His will, curses for those who disobey His will]? I came to Earth as the Messiah in the New Testament Age. What do you think is the meaning of the crucifixion? Do you really think that it was God's will from the beginning, or could it have been the result of human error? Have you thoroughly studied my life? I certainly came with the mission of the Messiah, yet I lived eating and sleeping like any other man on Earth. Even though I lived as an ordinary human being, my mission as the Messiah was unique. To state the conclusion, the way of redemption through my crucifixion was not God's original intention.
Dear Christians and all people on Earth, please pray over this matter while fasting. Then I will appear to you and clearly tell you the truth. When you do it, you should be totally focused on praying with a pure heart. Reverend Sun Myung Moon is the one who came to Earth to complete my mission that was not fulfilled through the redemption of the cross. He comes as the True Parent to conclude God's providence in the Completed Testament Age.
I came with the mission of the Messiah in the New Testament, but people at that time crucified me. That is why there remained a task for God to fulfill, and the necessity of a Second Coming. The Messiah in the New Testament Age brought salvation to people in the spirit. Still, history continued with the homework of physical salvation remaining to be fulfilled. Wandering in the alleys of grievance, suffering, sorrow and pain, God endured endless tension and pressure while He waited to send the Messiah again to Earth. After separating good and evil in order to prepare his lineage, God could send Reverend Sun Myung Moon.
You know where I was born; it was in a manger. Do you know what the heart of Mary was like at that moment? Dear fellow Christians, could you easily understand it from reading the Bible? Have you not struggled over some incomprehensible events or insoluble questions? How could you understand my heart, when I could not fully reveal all the secrets of heaven? How could you understand the intricacies of the providence, when so much was not recorded in the Bible? Why was the womb of Mary, Joseph's fiance, growing large? You cannot understand all the secrets that have been veiled during the providence of restoration. Since human beings are children of God, God cannot help but love them. It is also difficult for you to fathom the heart of God.
Reverend Sun Myung Moon is the returning Messiah for whom you have been waiting and waiting. He inherited my mission at the age of 16. Dear Christians, are you still looking up and waiting for Christ to return on the clouds? Reverend Moon travels throughout the world on the clouds. He is investing all of his heart and soul for the realization of world peace. Even today, although he is over 80 years old, he is fighting on the frontline.

I sincerely wish that Christians would reflect deeply upon the circumstances when I, the Messiah of the New Testament Age, was crucified. I hope they pray about my life and about God's view on human salvation.
Think about the circumstances that I could not be married even though I was 33. Think of how my 12 disciples and I often went hungry. My life was filled with grievances. Christians surmise that everything that happened to me was the will of God. However, think whether there was any responsibility on the part of human beings. I came as the Messiah and the Son of Man. As the begotten Son of God, I did my very best to fulfill my messianic mission, but I could not fully accomplish my dreams and desires. Had my will been entirely fulfilled, would it be necessary for me to return?
Dear fellow Christians and religious believers, I am truly the Messiah. However, the one who returned to fulfill the messianic mission today is Reverend Sun Myung Moon. He is the Second Advent of the Lord. Think of the question John the Baptist asked me, when I was being hounded as a ringleader of heretics: "Are you the one who is to come?" How do you now see Reverend Moon? Think of the flow of time and examine the incredible achievements he has wrought. Could he do this by human power and ability alone?
Jesus who died physically cannot come back to physical life and appear to you. Human flesh is to return to the earth as dust, once it gives up the spirit. That is the truth and a heavenly law. Read again the Bible verse that states that people will rise from the tombs. God is the Author of science and mathematics as the Being of the Principle. The theory that a dead body that decomposed will be reassembled and float in the air assumes that God can do anything and everything. However, to have God violate His own Being is extremely contradictory! You cannot solve questions that way. Look at the world of nature. Look at the process of human growth and the design of human life. God and human beings are in a relationship of parent and child. You will have to experience the heart of God now, who has been leading the providence of salvation for humankind so patiently. What if you Christians could see me right now, sitting and talking with Buddha, whom you consider to be an idol worshipper? What would you think of me?
Dear fellow Christians, fellow Buddhists, and believers of various religions! The four great religious founders, Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, and Mohammed, and saints such as Socrates, Augustine and others, have already held this seminar a number of times. Its theme is always the same: " God is the Parent of All Humankind." During the seminars, we are always studying the Divine Principle revealed by Reverend Moon. We analyze and discuss it in depth.

The fact that Jesus from Bethlehem in Judea could send a message to earthly people is due to the benefit of the age wrought with the arrival of the Completed Testament Age. Reverend Sun Myung Moon is the master of this era because he is the Messiah of the Second Coming.
What will you do with him? Are you going to put him on the stand for judgment? Are you going to hang him, as I was hung 2,000 years ago? Are you willing to pray and fast about this?
